Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sable Pacific LLC ("Sable Pacific," "we," "us") handles information on this website, sablepacific.com. This is a simple corporate site, and we collect very little. This policy covers only sablepacific.com — our apps, games, software, and other products each have their own privacy policy, provided with the product itself.
Information you give us through the contact form
If you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to submit: your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this solely to read and respond to your inquiry and to keep an ordinary business record of the correspondence. Providing it is voluntary; you can also reach us by mail at the address below.
Information collected automatically
As with almost every website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard technical server logs — including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We (and our hosting provider) use these for security, abuse prevention, rate-limiting, and operational troubleshooting, including recording the IP address associated with a contact-form submission. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors or combine them with other data for marketing.
What we do not do
This site uses no cookies, no analytics services, and no advertising or tracking technologies. We do not track you across other websites or over time. Because the site uses no tracking technology, "Do Not Track" browser signals have nothing to act on here.
How we use information
We use the information above only to: (a) respond to and document contact inquiries; (b) operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website; and (c) comply with law or enforce our Terms of Use. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers we rely on
We share information only with the service providers that operate this site on our behalf, and only as needed to run it:
- our web-hosting provider, which processes the server logs above and stores contact-form submissions on our behalf; and
- our email provider, which we use to deliver contact-form messages to us.
These providers may use the information only to provide their service to us, not for their own marketing. We do not otherwise disclose personal information to third parties except when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to and document the inquiry and for our ordinary business records, after which we delete or archive them. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider in the ordinary course and then discarded.
How we protect it
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold: contact submissions are stored in a non-public location on the server, messages are transmitted to us over an encrypted connection, and access is limited. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe. If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals and any applicable authorities as required by law.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted through this site. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:
- California residents. To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) applies to us, the only categories of personal information this website collects are identifiers (your name and email, if you use the contact form) and internet or network activity (server logs), collected for the business purposes described above. We do not sell or "share" (as defined under California law) personal information, and have not done so. California residents may request access to or deletion of their information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- EEA/UK visitors. To the extent the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal basis for handling contact-form data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (and your consent in submitting it), and for server logs, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Children
This is a corporate information site and is not directed to children; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
Our products have their own policies
Sable Pacific builds apps, games, software, and web services. Each product that collects personal information carries its own privacy policy, presented within that product and/or on its own website and store listing. This policy governs only sablepacific.com and does not apply to those products.
Changes to this policy
If our practices for this website change — for example, if we add analytics or a new form — we will update this policy and revise the effective date above, and note material changes conspicuously here.
